Donate Supplies to Firefighters
Rick and Bonnie Bullock's nephew, Chris Hoffman, is a firefighter and lives in Garner, North Carolina. There is an Amazon list of supplies they need, below, in order to help people in their community. There are 15,000 residents of Mitchell County. They currently have more food, paper products, hygiene products, baby supplies and cleaning products than they will use for some time. The need for Chris and the network of firefighters, volunteers, and veterans is for specific equipment to assist with rebuilding.
Chris says, "The firefighters with me, along with some volunteers, have started doing door to door wellness checks/supply missions in areas identified by locals as likely containing "at risk" households. I tell you all of that to reinforce my inside knowledge of this situation. I have an amazing network of local volunteers here in Mitchell county that I have 100% confidence in. I've spent the last week working very closely with these people and they're beyond reproach. They will ensure that these materials make it to the right people."
The Amazon list is sorted from high to low cost.
